YOUNGSTOWN, OH — Terry Grenga, a 27-year Mahoning County attorney, former prosecutor and defense attorney, and lifelong community advocate, today announced her candidacy for Mahoning County Domestic Relations Judge.
“I have spent my entire career serving the families of Mahoning County,” said Grenga. “Our families deserve a judge who understands the law, who has earned the trust of this community, and who will bring fairness and compassion to every case. That’s why I’m running.”
Grenga’s career in public service spans nearly three decades. She began as a prosecutor and assistant law director before entering private practice as a defense attorney. She currently serves as the defense attorney coordinator for Mahoning County Drug Court, working alongside Judge John M. Durkin to help reunite families through treatment and recovery.
Her campaign will focus on four key priorities for the Domestic Relations bench: courtroom experience built over nearly three decades, support for Drug Court and recovery programs, expanded access to justice for families who cannot afford counsel, and continued community service throughout Mahoning County.
“From Youngstown to Canfield, our families deserve a judge who listens, who understands, and who brings real experience to every case,” Grenga said. “I’ve dedicated my career to this community. I know the challenges families face, and I know how to help.”
Grenga is running to bring experienced, compassionate leadership to the Domestic Relations bench — with a focus on fairness and accessibility for every family.
